The pool is open seasonally from May through October. Pool Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. It is free for Santa Margarita KOA guests and available to others for a small Day Use Fee. Tuesday is Free-Swim Day for local residents. The pool is not heated. Whether you like to swim, read or relax, the pool area is the place for you.
Horseshoes (Horseshoes)
Our horseshoe pit is regulation size. It is located just below the playground area. This is a great activity for parents to pass the time while their children play at the playground, or even for children to pass time while their parents play on the Jumping Pillow!
飞盘高尔夫 9-Hole Course (Disc Golf 9-Hole Course)
Enjoy our 9-hole Disc Golf Course. Installed by professional disc golfers, the course offers a gently rolling open terrain while remaining completely family friendly. Santa Margarita KOA Guests play free and can checkout discs from the KOA Store. Non-camping visitors may purchase a Day Use Pass which includes use of the pool, Jumping Pillow and Disc Golf Course. Have some fun aiming for a hole-in-one!

We have basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, horse shoes, board games and more. All the fun you can imagine, and it's all FREE! Just visit the Party Yurt or the KOA Store.
Jumping Pillow! (Jumping Pillow!)
Located in the center of our campground, the giant Jumping Pillow is worth the trip to our KOA alone! Enjoyed by both children and adults, the 50-ft. bounce house without walls a family favorite. Benches and tables are provided if you would rather sit and watch. The Jumping Pillow is located near our playground, swing set and horseshoe pit. Our Jumping Pillow makes aerobic activity as fun as can be!
Dark-Sky Star Party (Dark-Sky Star Party)
The Central Coast Astronomical Society hosts a monthly Dark-Sky Star Party star-gazing event on Star Hill at the Santa Margarita KOA at sunset on the Saturday night closest to the New Moon. Members of the Society bring their big telescopes and set them up on Star Hill and welcome all KOA camping guests to join them for an awe-inspiring, educational good time. Please observe good star-gazing etiquette by not driving up Star Hill and use a red-light flashlight pointed to the ground as you walk up the hill. Also, No Alcohol and No Smoking. You will be amazed at how many stars you can see even with the naked eye in the dark skies surrounding Santa Margarita KOA!
Fabric Crafts & Rocket Launching (Fabric Crafts & Rocket Launching)
Kids of all ages will enjoy our ColorTime Fabric Paint craft. Campers can customize a backpack or T-shirt or choose the customize two paper rockets to launch. Moms adn Dads enjoy both of these activities as much as the kiddoes. Craft Fee: $5
Hayrides on Saturday Evening (Hayrides on Saturday Evening)
Join us for a tour of our 69-acre Santa Margarita KOA narrated by the Owners. Hayrides leave from the KOA Store at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday evenings. Yee Haw!
