This route traverses the very heart of Yosemite’s South Boundary Country and crosses the divide of the Merced River and San Joaquin River watersheds at Isberg Pass. Fishing on the lakes and streams is fair to excellent, and the life zones range from Canadian to arctic-alpine. Remoteness and panoramic vistas invite you to take this trip.
