Close to Center Conway, the Conway Recreation Trail is a great ride for those in need of an early morning leg-stretcher. It is also a fun and easy ride for kids, with the trail paralleling the Saco River for about half of the trip. You also can visit an old mineral spring, where water from under the ground still bubbles up through the pool. This trail, which is located in Conway’s Smith-Eastman Recreation Area, is a popular place for runners and walkers, so you will want to watch your speed on tight corners in order to avoid unexpected collisions. Some of the trails on this ride are adjacent to private property; please make an extra effort to adhere to Leave No Trace rules in order to ensure these trails will remain open to bikeriders in the future.
