简介
The Boulder Loop Trail starts next to the Albany Covered Bridge and the rushing waters of the Swift River. This starting location is itself a great place to relax, have a picnic, and explore the banks of the river. The ledges at the top of this hike offer the bird’s-eye view of the area as they overlook the river, the Kancamagus Highway, and the peaks of the Sandwich Range to the south. Since the trail gains 1,000 feet in a little more than mile, you’ll be climbing at a steady pace for the first half of the trip, but the relatively short distance ranks this hike on the easier end of the scale for White Mountain hikes.
