There’s nothing awe-inspiring about this hike, but it is a reliable, well-maintained exercise route that’s easily accessible from Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley. It’s also dog-friendly, with plenty of trashcans, plastic-bag dispensers, and water troughs. Most people take the moderately strenuous loop that begins with an uphill climb under sycamore trees, gives way to valley views, and empties into a street of private homes and back to the parking lot.
