Rollicking Hunter Creek is the centerpiece of this hike. The path runs through dense riparian forest near the creek’s confluence with the Roaring Fork; as the trail gets steeper and more invigorating, so does the creek, splashing joyfully under scenic bridges and over polished rocks. Pick any bridge along the route as a rest stop; each also offers a perfect turning point.
