简介

Washington Crossing State Park offers ideal trails for first-time and expert hikers, who frequently spot white-tailed deer, raccoons, and squirrels. Migrating birds as well as the screech owl, great-horned owl, red-shouldered hawk, and Eastern bluebird can often be seen or heard along the stream and ravine. You’ll see the forest in different stages of development, in addition to a variety of shrubs and wildflowers. Plan on stopping at the 1700-square-foot, barrierfree interpretive center for exciting and educational hands-on exhibits as well as a classroom and learning lab, computer station, live-observation beehive, and live and preserved wildlife specimens. A naturalist is available to answer any questions.
