简介

The 60-mile Delaware Canal represents the most intact canal of the early and mid-nineteenth century, with many of its operational features still in place. The parallel towpath today is recognized as a national heritage trail. Special attractions: River and canal views; Washington Crossing; historic locks, aqueducts, and lockkeeper houses; pedestrian bridge to the New Jersey shore and Delaware and Raritan Canal; historic buildings that date to the 1700s.
