简介

Follow a loop through a little-known open tract on Long Island’s central moraine in the corner between two major highways. Manetto Hills Park is the best-kept secret of Long Island hiking. Not just in the sense of not a lot of people knowing about it, but also in the fact that people pass by all the time and continue on with little, if any, awareness that it even exists. No signs announce its presence and no public entrance or parking is available. The county doesn’t even have a webpage for it.
