This short hike, just under 5 miles along the rocky Blue Mountain ridge, is long on breathtaking scenery. It is also treacherously enough because of generally rocky footing and a narrow stretch along jutting, knife edge blades of quartzite, known as The Cliffs, to warrant a warning: This hike is not for those with vertigo or without good boots.
