简介

Considered the Grand Canyon’s wildest ride, Lava Falls is situated deep within the canyon’s remote western portion. Despite its isolated locale, however, a trail—more of a route, really— allows hikers to watch boaters run this most famous of western river rapids from shore. Although the route is only 1.5 miles long, hiking it is no easy task. This trail drops 2,500 feet, making for one of the roughest hikes in the state.
