Part of Lehigh Gorge State Park, this abandoned stretch of the Jersey Central Railroad welcomes multiple-use recreation along the Lehigh River. Interpretive kiosks spaced along the route explain features of the Delaware–Lehigh Canal National Heritage Corridor, of which the railroad is a part. Special attractions: Overlooks and access to a changeable, class III whitewater river; exciting gorge; sheer cliffs; a spectacular rhododendron showcase; fishing; sidecreek waterfalls; wildflowers; wildlife; fall foliage.
